Few weeks following its conversion from a LLP to a C-Corp, BDO has just announced the establishment of an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). This is a first in the major accounting firms category. BDO USA CEO Wayne Berson said: “An ESOP is the realization of our purpose of helping people thrive, every day. Its a game-changer for our people, clients and communities, designed to improve lives for generations to come.” The question is: will other firms follow?
Vault just released the 2024 rankings of top accounting firms. The only major change when compared to 2023, is RSM moving from 8th position to 5th position, and Plante Moran from 5th to 7th.
